Walk For Cause - Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children

Jai Shree Krishna

Pushti Parivar UK is humbled to receive the below email from Great Ormond Street Hospital for our efforts to raise fund for the Charity.

"Hi Bhavna,

I just wanted to drop you a line in thanks for your recent 'Walk for a Cause' fundraising challenge which took place on 18 July.  I hope the event went well, and you had a great time.  Everyone here at GOSH is very grateful for all your support and commitment to date.

I can see from our notes, you raised the incredible sum of £5,001, and Supporter Relations issued you with your certificate today.  This is such an impressive achievement;  your contribution is hugely appreciated and makes such a significant difference to the lives of so many children.

Over the past year, we’ve needed your support more than ever and we’ve been overwhelmed with the response we have received from supporters like you! It is thanks to your generosity that we have been able to step up and be there for seriously ill children, their families and GOSH staff at a time of crisis.

“The last 12 months have been some of the most difficult and challenging that our families and the staff that care for them have ever had to face. Life at GOSH has changed so much but thanks to all those who have supported us over the past year, we have been able to ease the burden on our patients and staff. From something as simple as a play pack for a child having to isolate, to warm food and coffee for staff at the end of a gruelling shift, your donations have made a real difference at a time when they were needed most. On behalf of everyone at GOSH, I would like to say a massive thank you. “

Mat Shaw, chief executive, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust

Thank you again for your support, it means so much to us!  Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about your event or anything you are planning to do in the future.

Kind regards,

Sandra Hillier
